In 2004, Jana Turner, a native Houstonian, decided to permanently trade in her city life for the laid-back lifestyle of Galveston Island. Her passion for coastal living has been passed down to her three daughters, each of whom live on a different coast; East, West and Gulf. Having a love of Galveston Island all her life, she has owned beachside, bayside and historical properties and has an affinity for each type of retreat. Jana prides herself on helping buyers find the perfect home according to their lifestyle.
Committed to stellar customer service, Jana has earned her designations as CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) designations and RSPS (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist). She is a member of the Galveston and Houston, Texas and National Associations of Realtors and serves on the Multiple Listing Service Committee for the Galveston Board of Realtors. Her involvement in the Galveston real estate market is extensive and diverse.
Jana has been heavily involved in many philanthropic endeavors and especially enjoyed her work as a child advocate for Fort Bend CASA. She is a member of the Galveston Historical Foundation and sits on the advisory board of the 1894 Grand Opera House. Hobbies include tennis, reading, mahjongg, traveling, walking on the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Jana brings a strong background in marketing, business, technology and investment to the table, including first-hand experience in 1031 exchanges and vacation rental properties.
