Saturday, October 11- The Sand 'N Sea office is open!
Galveston Island is our home, and Hurricane Ike hit us hard; but we are ready to rebuild our company, Sand 'N Sea Properties, and Galveston Island.
Sand 'N Sea is a microcosm of the island; personal damages ranged from none at all to total loss. But we have an amazing group of Realtors and employees and they are all managing home repairs and family responsibilities so that business - and each of you - can be taken care of just as soon as possible.
Galveston will be better than ever, and we look forward to welcoming you and your families back to the Island again!

A few notes:
- Office: Sand 'N Sea's office is open. Weekend hours: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Communication: Because of reduced staff (many employees are still arranging for temporary housing or repairing their homes) please e-mail any questions to: info@sandnsea.com . Your e-mail will be answered as quickly as possible.
- Vacation Properties: We will be working with our homeowners to assess any damage at their properties, and we will be working hard to make repairs as quickly as possible.
- Reservations: Sand `N Sea is not accepting reservations until further notice. As soon as we are ready to book your vacation, you'll receive an announcement.
- Cancellations and Refunds: Rest assured that we will be in touch with all guests just as soon as possible. During the week of October 6th, we will be able to reconnect our computer network and access all reservation records. Then we can process cancellations and applicable refunds.

For Sand 'N Sea guests with Travel Insurance:
In the case of Hurricane Ike, your Travel Guard travel insurance will become effective if you purchased your travel insurance before Ike became a hurricane (purchase date no later than September 2, 2008) AND if you file your claim by October 12. The filing deadline is very important. If you miss it, you forfiet your refund!
